Sales Representatives
Sales representative agreements are t the heart of the relationship between a manufacturer or importer and a sales rep. While you want to have a good rapport with a sales rep, it is necessary to have certain issues in writing. The better communication you have with your reps, the more thorough an eventual written agreement will be.
Because we can help you with your initial meeting with a sales rep, we play a part in how an agreement is drawn up. We will consult with you about what terms you want put into an agreement and how to discuss these issues with a potential rep. The more professional you appear to be--the more you know the terms of the deal--the more an agreement can work in your favor. MRP can do the legwork to keep you in the driver's seat in an all your agreements.
Get It in Writing
This should be your mantra: get it in writing. However, if you don't have a comprehensive initial consultation with a sales representative, some major issues may go uncovered. This is the major advantage you'll get with an MRP consultation--we will work out all of the issues you need to cover before you ever talk with a sales representative.
In your own consultation with a rep you can then make an official contract. Handshake agreements are nice, but in today's world it is vital to have a contract. This isn't just a matter of trust but of itemizing a rep's duties so the duties will not be forgotten by either you or the rep. Without MRP's help, it would be easy to forget some very basic and important issues.
